Recommendation . Care:
Light:
Jade plants prefer full sun and like four or more hours of sunlight each day.
If you cannot do this try once a week to leave her outside to receive the sunlight she missed all week.
They are best in a room with south-facing windows.
Water:
Indoors, this will mean watering the plant once every 2 to 3 weeks. Of course, adjust the frequency, based on the temperature and humidity in your home.
Allow the top inch or so of soil to dry between watering.
Quick Tips:
You can prune new shoots at the top, as doing so will promote horizontal over vertical growth for a healthier, bushier Jade plant.
Once you finish the pruning process, make sure to let your plant adjust and recover properly by avoiding excess watering and overexposure to light.
Remember, Jade plants are notorious for their slow growth. Thus, it’ll take several days to weeks for your plant to grow bushier.
Crassula ovate
Scientifically known as Crassula ovata, a Jade plant is a gorgeous succulent with fleshy, oval-shaped leaves on thick, woody stems. It’s native to the arid regions of South Africa Sometimes called the money plant or dollar plant, these plants were once thought to bring good luck to their owners so were often given as housewarming gifts.
Jade plants are a massive hit among indoor gardeners not only for their low-maintenance requirements but also for their symbolic meaning (a Jade plant is believed to attract wealth and prosperity while promoting positive energy flow).
Jade plants belong to the Crassula family. They need an even hand with water and plenty of light to develop their full potential. Given proper conditions, the jade plant will produce white flowers in the late winter, making an attractive and mildly fragrant display.
These succulents thrive in bright, indirect light. requiring minimal watering and occasional fertilization during their growing season.
This plant absorbs CO2 and releases oxygen at night, which makes it a great plant for bedrooms.
With proper care, Jade plants can stay with you for up to 70 years. Thus, it’s often passed down among generations.
