This plant needs to live in a room with at least some natural light. Place it with windows nearby.
Indoor and outdoor

Water: Not Thirsty
This plant can go several weeks without water. Only water it when the soil dries out completely ( the moss ball is not heavy)and be careful not to over-water.

Beaucarnea recurvata, the elephant’s foot or with a common name is Ponytail Palm (it’s actually in the Agave family and native to areas of Mexico).

the ponytail palm tree is a hearty specimen and a beautiful addition to any house plant collection. Fun fact: Though its name suggests so, the ponytail palm tree is neither a palm nor a tree. As a member of the Agave family, it is a succulent.

The common characteristics of this plant include a bulbous trunk, which is used to store water, and its long, hair-like leaves that grow from the top of the trunk like a ponytail, giving the plant its renowned name.

Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with sensitivity to it upon contact. Cold Weather & Heat Pack Notice  
For areas with temperatures below 45°F (7°C), a heat pack is strongly recommended. Extreme cold can damage live plants. Botanic Live is not responsible for weather-related damage if a heat pack is not added to the order. Heat packs are available as an optional add-on.
 
Customization & Handmade Nature  
Each plant is handcrafted and made to order. No two plants are exactly alike. Natural variations in trunk shape, foliage, and size should be expected. If you would like to see the specific plant before shipping, please request photos prior to placing your order and leave a note at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
 
Personalization  
Optional personalization is available. If selected, please enter the message you would like printed on the greeting card at checkout.
 
After You Receive Your Plant  
Please open the package as soon as it arrives. Do not leave the plant inside the box or outdoors for an extended period. This is a live plant and needs airflow and light. General care instructions are included, but plants may need time to adjust to their new environment and climate.
 
Handling and Shipping Policy  
Orders are shipped using a 2–3 business day shipping service, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout and the carrier that best suits your location. Available carriers may include USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Tracking information will be provided once the shipping label is created. It is the buyer’s responsibility to track the shipment and receive the package promptly.
 
If the plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the plant and packaging. Claims submitted after 24 hours cannot be accepted, as damage may be related to environmental exposure or care after delivery.
 
No Returns or Exchanges  
Due to the live and perishable nature of plants, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist.
