Art has been woven into the fabric of my life from the very beginning. As a young girl, lacking the means to acquire the lavish items I desired, I turned to my creativity to fashion my own attire for school events. This was my first revelation of the power of creation—of sculpting something from nothing. Growing older, I delved into painting, drawing inspiration from the rustic landscapes of my homeland, Colombia.

My journey through the realm of art led me to design bathing suits, and eventually, I found myself captivated by the artistry of nature. Utilizing the gifts bestowed upon us by the Earth to craft beauty resonated deeply with me, for we are intrinsically connected to nature; without it, we are but empty vessels.

Blessed with two daughters, my eldest inherited my passion for creation. Together, we share a profound artistic vision. It was during a serene hike through the woods that our collaborative journey truly blossomed. Enveloped by the symphony of nature—the gentle cascade of water, the melodious chirping of birds, and the graceful dance of trees—we were inspired. Breathing in the earthy aroma and marveling at the vibrant hues of moss, we knew we wanted to bring this essence into our home.

Thus, our exploration into the art of nature began. Discovering the ancient Japanese technique of kokedamas—a method of crafting plant pots using natural elements—sparked our imaginations. Through practice and dedication, we mastered this art form, which became the foundation of our venture: Botanic Live. Though our journey has just commenced, our passion for kokedamas and moss art has ignited a creative flame within us, guiding us forward on this enchanting path.
